Mediation is a form of dispute resolution in which the mediator facilitates communications between the researcher and client in dispute to assist them in reaching a mutually acceptable settlement.
Mediation services should be used when it appears that other than resorting to litigation or more formal practices a positive result can be achieved through early and informal intervention.
Our mediators avoid taking sides, making judgements, driving guidance and/or acting in an advisory or arbitrary capacity.
Our mediation does not impose a decision or attempt to judge the merits of the case.
Our mediation services are voluntary; any party may withdraw at any time. All the discussions are completely confidential.
The Co Chair Heather Travis and Mark Senior offer the service free to members and at an agreed case by case cost to non members.
