|Job Description||The role of a Researcher is instrumental to our business. Your duties ensure that our industry knowledge is current, accurate and a step ahead of the market - and more importantly, that our clients and candidates alike know that we are working tirelessly on their behalf.
Part investigative research, part consultancy and part analytical, the role is varied and requires an understanding of business, a good eye for detail and the ability to get up to speed on new market subsectors very quickly.
This role will provide an excellent insight into company operations, information management, and marketing. Indeed, often the best consultants in the executive search world have started as researchers and credit a large part of their success to the grounding and market exposure they gained in this role.
Responsibilities amongst others include:
• Gathering, collating and managing a comprehensive database of reference material
• Building client/candidate profiles
• Supporting initiatives such as salary surveys and organisation of Marketing activities such as the HR Forum etc.
• Conducting both primary and secondary research tasks
• Approaching senior individuals within the various sectors in the aviation industry by telephone and email
• Completing research calls to target individuals in order to write detailed biographies of them for consultants
