‘IamRemarkable’ with Jo Phillips.

‘IAmRemarkable’ is a global movement that empowers everyone, including underrepresented groups, to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond, while challenging the social perception around self-promotion.
In this interactive session, you will participate in group discussions and exercises to increase your comfort and confidence in self-promotion.
During this 60 minute workshop we will:
● reflect on our own limiting beliefs on self-promotion
● share data and research regarding self-promotion and bias
● go through the main exercise to help you identify and share your achievements
● wrap up with discussion and take home exercises.

The workshop is specifically designed to help women to talk about their achievements in the workplace and beyond. It’s online, it’s Googles’ IamRemarkable and its frankly an honour to deliver it, and I’ve delivered programmes all over the world to Pepsico, Natwest, Maersk, IATA, Dell, IBM, GDC, Redhat, Softwire,…the list goes on but this one is specifically for women who want to know how to talk about their accomplishments without bragging, only spaces for 25 attendees. If you struggle to talk about your achievements, if it makes you cringe, if you feel like its boasting and you can’t get past this… this is for you Let’s get you to a place you can talk openly and easily about the value you bring, it’s important because ability alone won’t get you to where you want to be, whether you are selling, negotiating, looking for a new role a promotion or just to elevate your personal brand, you have to be able to articulate your accomplishments.

During the workshop.

  • All cameras on – non-negotiable, kids, cats, amazon delivery drivers, all welcome, but cameras on so that I can give each person the attention they need.
  • Timings – meeting opens 10 minutes before start time, at exactly the start time I will kick off the workshop, anyone who is 3 mins late or more will not be let into the workshop. This programme is a brilliant, and beautifully crafted workshop, Google have done an amazing
job, however it requires psychology safety and focus.
  • Yes you can eat, and yes you can chat, and yes you will be interacting, and no it’s not recorded, and yes you can share, and yes it’s all P&C, and no you don’t need to do any prep, and yes you can be dressed casually. Oh and phones off, this is your time, to focus on
    your own personal development.
