October 2016 – Workshop with Warren Kemp

Tuesday 11th October 2016 1.30pm – 4.30pm (BST)

ERA Workshop – Warren Kemp – Recruitment Matters International

1.30pm – 4.30pm

Session One: How to build a proactive, productive and profitable network

Session Two: Sourcing a steady pipeline of quality candidates via consistent process

Session One

Networking (verb): Interacting with others to exchange information in order to develop professional or social contacts

Researchers and recruiters can spend a huge amount of time connecting with people to expand their contacts but,  in reality, do very little ‘with’ them to capitalise on those contacts and to reach other potential connections. That’s like thinking it’s a 100 metre race to realise it’s actually 400 metres and you have used all your energy up too soon. During this interactive session we will discuss the tools, techniques and tactics needed to network with more focus.

Session Two

You can’t control people but you can control process

How many times have you searched for that elusive 5-star candidate only to realise when you do find ‘the one’ they were on a previous campaign’s long list or mapping exercise? By having a consistent robust process, exacting standards and the right research tools a steady pipeline is possible. Via learning from your fellow attendees’ successes and struggles, too (while sharing yours) you will come away with cleaner process and greater certainty of success.

Warren Kemp has been at the forefront of the executive search industry since the early 90’s. He has trained more people in the art of sourcing, headhunting, and selling search than any other trainer in Europe around today. He still takes on occasional retained assignments, ensuring that these sessions will be relevant and reassuring.

What people say about us

I continue to greatly enjoy the mentoring programme. Following a second year with the same mentor has been very valuable, insofar we have got to know much more of each other, and learnt a lot about executive search and the day to day struggles and joys of managing a team. I hope the programme will continue in the following years.
