There is a very large misconception in the recruiting world that all the candidates we need are on LinkedIn. Of course many of them are, but low InMail response rates and many outstanding invitations in your inbox are proof that LinkedIn candidate apathy is upon us. Candidates now have a choice, and they use it by going to different social networks to engage with their peer groups. Statistics show us that an average person in on 5 social networks.
